The spacious lobby was recently renovated and has a trendy relaxing atmosphere with wooden and red colours and comfortable tables and chairs. As per April 2005 the restaurant will not only be used for eating breakfast, the restaurant will open a Piazza d’Oro. Piazza d’Oro is an exclusive brand of Douwe Egberts the Dutch most famous coffee-roasting factory. It is a good place to enjoy Amsterdam with a delicious cup of coffee and a home made apple pie. The hotel is located in the centre of Amsterdam and it is only a 5-minute walk to the Central Station. The tram lines 1, 2, 5, 13 and 17 all stop in front of the hotel. Parking is available in "De Kolk" parking garage opposite the hotel.
