Area description

The hotel is located in the heart of Amsterdams characteristic old centre. Trend-setting shopping streets are just around the corner just as cultural tours de force such as the Royal Palace, "Beurs van Berlage" and the "Nieuwe Kerk". Amsterdam Central Station is seven minutes away by foot, and it is only a half-hour journey from there to Schiphol Airport. A shuttle bus to Schiphol is at your disposal, departing every 30 minutes from 5 oclock in the morning to 8 oclock in the evening. NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky has its own landing dock for boats.

NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky is easy to reach, regardless of your means of transportation. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is only 20 minutes away by car. By foot from Central Station (7 minutes)
Take the main exit and walk directly over the square. After you cross Prins Hendrikkade you will find yourself on the Damrak. Walk along this street until you get to Dam Square. You wil see the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky to your left.

By tram from Central Station (5 minutes)
From the square in front of the station you can take tramlines 4,9,16,17,20,24 or 25. All of these trams stop at De Bijenkorf, a department store on Dam Square. Behind the Monument, you will see the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky to your left.
