The A-Train Hotel is a three star hotel, perfectly located just in front of the Central Station, in the beating heart of Amsterdam. Our charming and friendly hotel, run by Jos and Erika Heijnsdijk, will be a comfortable place to stay during your tourist or business visit and will make you feel like "Home away from Home". The A-Train Hotel (former Hotel Schirmann International) was completely renovated in 2002 and re-opened in Februari 2003. We now have a brand-new hotel in an "old coat", with a "train-theme" going through the whole hotel. We aim to please with an informal atmosphere. We are looking forward to see you soon in our hotel.

Area description

The A-Train Hotel (formerly Hotel Schirmann) was fully renovated in 2002 as a unique 3 star hotel, ideally located in front of the Central (Railway) Station in the beating heart of Amsterdam.
Shopping areas, tourist attractions, pubs, restaurants, theatres, are all within walking distance. All major tram, bus, metro lines operate from the Central Station, only 15-20 minutes from Schiphol Airport, RAI and WTC.
There is an underground car park, with hotel guests discount, opposite the A-Train Hotel.
